This vision is caught from Genesis 12:3 “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”
The Foundation was incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission in 2017.
It was dedicated for service on the 3rd September 2017 at the Covenant University, Ota, Nigeria.
WHY WAS THIS FOUNDATION INCORPORATED?
Number One
This foundation is not a copy and paste kind of thing, another way to raise fund nor a show off. It is a platform to empower. There are many ways by which this has been done on an individual basis before now. However, incorporating a foundation will provide (M.A.T.E.) – Measurement, Accountability, Transparency and Extension. It is imperative to create a channel of convenience to do the assignment.
By measurement; it means so we can track progress, monitor the upward scale of activities and thus measure the degree of impact over time objectively.
By accountability, it means to keep proper record, render adequate and appropriate returns of stewardship especially as it may relate to financial matters involving the resources of others.
By transparency, it means maintaining a clear, clean cut divide between personal endeavors versus charitable overtures.
By extension it means continuity beyond the founder’s appointed season on earth, just like the Rockefellers
Number Two
From my growing up experiences, I realize that people can be limited because of many circumstances beyond their control. Talented people with great potentials who lack adequate knowledge (I mean information) and financial relief can become gold buried in the mud. Just a “little push” through school, an information just in time, capacity building, skill acquisition and adequate career and social mentoring will bring out the best in them. So, this registered foundation will orchestrate this “little push” and more.
Number Three
There are big gaps between the “haves” and the “have-nots” in our present society. The middle point seems to continue to diminish into nothing over time. The kind and generous “haves” do not know how to connect with the sincere and genuine “have-nots”. So, this platform will coordinate the interaction.
Number Four
To build up a pool of fund where instant, immediate food, shelter and clothing can be made available as temporary reliefs to people suddenly displaced by flood, fire or any such disaster that require charitable responses.
Number Five
To inspire young adults to aspire to greater heights. To show them how to take responsibilities early in life in order to fulfil their desires. To redirect those who have lost direction through wrong associations, vulnerable environment and unwholesome companionships. This will be done by organizing several re-orientation trainings, skills acquisition programs, training in crafts, arts, etc.
