Workplace Channel (WC)

WORKPLACE CHANNEL

This is the anchor mission of TheDeborahDavid (#TDD). She is sometimes referred to as the workplace “Apostle”. To drive this assignment, “WORKPLACE CHANNEL ©” has been initiated on Instagram (@workplacechannel) and Facebook (https://web.facebook.com/workplacechannel/).

The Mission of Workplacechannel© is to see workers work well and live well. The core objective of this initiative is to: “Build Increased Capacity for Higher Productivity” either as an Entrepreneur or Employee. Ultimately, this will lead to national prosperity.

Workplacechannel© teaches L.A.Y.E© (an acronym for Learn As You Earn) launched in June 2015. L.A.Y.E© has impacted many lives especially youths in active employment, supervisors, team leaders and managers in the workplace and beyond. The idea of L.A.Y.E was borne out of the passion to see employees work their way to the peak of their careers, to see managers and leaders sharpen their coaching and delegation skills in order to free up time to do more strategic things. The concept has been taught in many seminars, employee engagement meetings with tremendous impact on audience.

Workplacechannel© also addresses Business Owners, whereas they are taught to build proper structures within and around their businesses to ensure longevity for posterity.

Other proponents of Workplacechannel© include the following:

1. To establish that everyone is a worker and everywhere can be a workplace (office, market, kitchen, on the street, anywhere) depending on what value is being added.
2. Workers are a very important asset in any scheme of things.
3. Every worker has something unique to CONTRIBUTE if proper training and coaching are introduced to polish the innate abilities
4. To foster rapid growth of workers whereby they are encouraged to do more than their job descriptions. Imbibe time and people management skills.
5. To promote VALUE-BASED orientation in a group setting. Everyone possessing “team spirit”, have singleness of purpose in unity and focus
6. To emphasize the display of virtuous demeanor while at work. I believe that: “Charisma without character is a disaster. Talent without integrity is calamity” – Deborah David.
7. To balance skill with discretion and rational thinking. These two things make obvious difference between the Leader and the Follower. “Intelligence without discretion is ignorance” – Deborah David
